Nissan X-Trail is a compact crossover in production since the early 2000s. It is one of three successors to the Terrano. The first two generations had a boxy shape, and Terrano’s off road genes. The third generation resembled a blown up Qashqai. In the US the X-Trail was offered only in the first generation. Then it was replaced by the Rogue. The second generation Rogue looks like the third X-Trail, and so on. This is the fourth gen X-Trail or the third gen Rogue. This Nissan X-Trail has an interesting hybrid drivetrain called e-Power, which is combined with e-4ORCE electric AWD system. How does it work, and will it cope off road?
