Whilst exploring Blisworth, Jamie and I discovered a dismantled railway which would run from Towcester (STMJR opened 13th April 1891 and closed 5th July 1965) to a junction on the Northampton to Bedford railway. We bumped into a farmer who seemed to love railway history just as much as I did. After telling him about our railway hunting expeditions, he invited Jamie and myself to a private tour to show the railway which passed through his families land. The farmer mentioned that the locals would call this railway the "Smokey Miserable Jolty Railway". From the tour we was kindly given, Jamie and I returned to explore the rest of the line (four days later), which happened to have the most disused station ever built since Salcey Forest station was disused even when it was opened. So come take an epic journey with us and discover some hidden gems along the way. 👇Check out Jamie's Channel with this link👇 / @wombled The channel is supported by viewers like yourself becoming Patrons, feel free with this link below / purplevision 👇Check out our TikTok account👇 PurpleVision23 👇PurpleVision👇Subscribe(For Free) / purplevision23 👇Purple & Co.
