Pinaka MK3: Divine Bow of Shiva As the name suggests, the Pinaka Mk.3 is the third step in a series of multiple rocket launch systems indigenously developed by India. Named after the divine bow of Shiva, this platform delivers overwhelming firepower without sacrificing range. The Tier IV Pinaka Mk.3 is set to arrive in the upcoming Holi activity, so be sure to keep an eye out! The rear-mounted launcher carries 12 high-caliber 214 mm rockets — with a broad arsenal for both precision strikes and saturation fire. Pinaka MK-01, HE — The standard-issue rocket. Deals some 22.2k base and explosion damage each, making it a reliable choice for early engagements. Pinaka MK-03, HE — Unlocked at Mk2, this one gets better damage and penetration at the cost of slightly reduced explosion radius. Pinaka GUIDED, HEAT — A guided alternative available at Mk2. Deals 10.6k base and explosion damage each with a reduced radius, but compensates with tracking capability. Ideal for hitting mobile targets. Pinaka DPICM, CH — Cluster-head munitions that unleash a devastating 22.3k explosion damage, as well as some base and module damage to top it off. Naturally, all ordnance comes with good upgrade potential! Unlike tracked artillery platforms, the Pinaka Mk3 rides on a high-mobility 8×8 wheeled chassis, optimized for the shoot-n’-scoot doctrine. Its road speed of nearly 60 km/h allows the vehicle to be on the move moments after emptying the pod — as for a rocket artillery system, mobility is the only real shield. Happy Holi-days!
