The Trutg dil Flem hiking trail brings you right into the heart of the Sardona Unesco world heritage site. Accessible via the Flims/Laax cable cars, the hike follows the route of the river Flem from unterer Segnesboden down to Flims Bergbahnen. The highlight of the trail is the are around unterer Segnesboden, a high altitude moorland landscape, offering incredible colors in fall. From here, the 14 km long hiking trail descends 1400 meters to Flims, crossing the Flem river on a series of beautiful bridges. Before the first snow, this is for us one of the best autumn hikes that Switzerland has to offer and is perfect for an October trail. For us, this is one of the best hikes in Switzerland.
