A tough 11mile walk on a very hot day

We set off from Thorthwaite, through Braithwaite and onto the Newlands valley with the intention of just walking to the head of the valley and then back to the Swinside Inn....however the pub was shut for renovations so decided to carry on over the tops between high-spy and Dale-head, descending down over the top of high-rigg quarries down to the Borrowdale valley floor and into Rosthwaite for a late lunch(very late), it was tougher than anticipated due to the high temperatures(25C) but very enjoyable. Got a bus back to Keswick from Rosthwaite, knackered. Thanks for watching. 😊
