E26 was brave & fierce today defending its nest and food from an intruder that was trying to make a steal, not once but two times! E26 was successful and the intruder did end up flying off to the east. E26 is just like F23 - fierce and had no fear!! This intruder was large and most likely a female. The Intruder looks to be turning 5 years old with a mostly white head and tail but there were some brown feathers on the side of the head and on the tail. E26 was success in preventing the intruder from entering the nest with its menacing presence and vocals! Well done! F23 would be so proud of her eaglet! Now that M15 is single, we will see intruders show up in the area and try to venture to the nest tree. M15 & E26 will continue to defend their nest and territory! Thank you for watching!
