Local agencies of all sizes will often transport equipment by trailers. The equipment may be large or small and it sometimes is complex. Regardless, it must be secured safely on the trailer. While some of the specific rules vary state to state, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation personnel walked us through the fundamentals at the 2023 Roadway Management Conference (an annual effort by the Mid-Atlantic Region of LTAP and T2 Centers, including WV, VA, PA, MD, and DE) in Seven Springs, Pennsylvania.
