Guruvayoor Desa | Devotional Dance Performance | Shivaratri Mahotsavam 2026 A heartfelt devotional dance performance on the beautiful Malayalam song “Guruvayoor Desa”, performed during the 5th Shivaratri Mahotsavam on 11th February 2026 at Mangalam Shiva Mangalam Jnaneshwarar Temple, Mangalam. “Guruvayoor Desa” is a soulful tribute to Lord Guruvayurappan, the divine form of Lord Krishna worshipped at the sacred Guruvayur Temple in Kerala. The song glorifies the holy land of Guruvayoor, the compassion of the Lord, His enchanting flute, and the deep sense of peace and surrender experienced by devotees in His presence. Through graceful movements, expressive abhinaya, and devotional intensity, the young performers beautifully portrayed the love, longing, and surrender described in the song. The students were trained by Sarayu School of Dance, under the dedicated guidance of Sajith Kesav. Their disciplined training and devotion transformed this performance into a heartfelt offering.
