In case the all the sarcasm isn't clear enough: I don't have any formal training in philosophy, but I have always been fascinated with the way the human sense of self is constructed. This video summarizes my current understanding of the topic. I speak mainly (but not entirely) from a physicalist perspective, so if you do not share my basic assumptions about the nature of the universe then this video might not adequately address your beliefs.
