India Army jawans show how juice, eggs, tomatoes, potatoes, onion, ginger and everything gets freeze in extreme cold weather of Siachen Glacier of Ladakh, the world's highest and toughest battlefield. The temperature at Siachen dips as low as minus 50 degrees Celsius or even below. The summer temperature too remains below minus 10 degrees C. Unfortunately, a large number of soldiers lose their lives due to extreme cold while serving the nation. Soldiers are required to undergo a hard training before being deployed at Siachen. They are trained in mountaineering, ice climbing, survival techniques etc. They wear high-quality thermal clothes. Many soldiers find it difficult to sleep in such conditions. Even their guns get freeze, so the arms are covered with special material. The water freezes instantly; so it is required to melt down with help of fire. Even diesel and kerosine freeze under such conditions. All the vegetables, fruits, juices and eggs turn solid ice and are required to be heated up in warm water.
