Yesterday I returned to one of my favorite train-spotting locations - Deshler Ohio! We caught a total of 16 trains, some track maintenance work, foreign power, classic signal action, and more. And the record for my longest video has been broken again! As always, leave a like or a comment if you enjoyed! Info About Deshler: Deshler is a town in northwestern Ohio, where two CSX mainlines intersect. The two lines are 1) the Garrett/Willard subdivisions, and 2) the Toledo subdivision. Both of the lines previously belonged to the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, leading to Deshler being dubbed "Crossroads of the B&O". Presently, an average of forty trains pass through this town on a given day, and a railfan park has been built, called Crossroads Park, to allow railfans to safely view the trains. There are a number of artifacts that remind people of an age of railroading long past, such as the old, defunct B&O passenger station, the switching tower which is now used as an equipment storage room, and the still functioning color-position light signals. The town itself is also rich with history besides the railroad-related structures. Needless to say, Deshler should, in my opinion, be on any railfan's bucket list.
