Day 5 | Return Journey from Rajgir by Road | Usri Falls Giridih | Hotel Stay | Road Trip Finale Our 5th and final day of the unforgettable Kolkata to Rajgir road trip marks the journey back home, but not before creating some truly memorable moments. After sharing each day’s adventure, today I’m finally bringing you the last chapter of our Rajgir trip, including a quick glimpse of the beautiful hotel where we stayed. This was a newly started hotel, located in a serene and scenic part of Rajgir, surrounded by nature and calm vibes. The hotel Mohi Raj of Rajgir offers hill view rooms as well as non hill view rooms, along with a huge balcony, perfect for summer stays. Though we couldn’t enjoy the balcony due to winter, the view of Rajgir hills was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel staff were extremely polite, helpful, and well mannered, which made our stay even more pleasant. We started our return journey at around 10 AM, with a special stop planned at Usri Falls, Giridih. Visiting Usri Falls was a personal dream, inspired by Professor Shanku, the legendary imaginary character created by Satyajit Ray, who was known to visit this place for his morning walks from Giridih. Usri Falls is naturally stunning, peaceful, and refreshing, though I must say, it’s not very suitable for elderly people due to the terrain. Still, we spent a wonderful and memorable time there. What surprised us the most was the remarkable development in Bihar and Jharkhand. Better roads, infrastructure, and overall progress. Sadly, the same can’t be said for West Bengal, especially after what we faced later on the Durgapur Highway, which I’ve already shown in previous video. We left Usri Falls at around 5 PM and finally reached home close to 1 AM, a journey that could have ended by 10 PM.
