Getting Started with Märklin 29124 Startup Xmas Set & Extensions (Extra 09)

This video illustrates how to get started in the model train hobby with Märklin START UP Christmas train. The starter set is originally for kids, but works just as well for adults ;-) The starter set is from the Märklin "Start Up" series targeting kids (6 years and up 6+). The set has the following: 1 steam locomotive with Christmas decorations 1 passenger car with Christmas decorations 1 gondola freight car with Christmas decorations Oval snow-covered C-track Wireless IR controller incl 2xAAA battery Base station The "Start Up" series has same locomotives, cars and track as the normal Märklin. However, the locomotives and cars have less detail and are more sturdy. A special controller easy for kids to use is included. The controller is infrared and wireless. The controller and the power to track automatically turns off when not used. You can extend the Christmas starter set with the Märklin 20124 Start up – "Snow-Covered Track" C Track Extension Set as well as from the normal Märklin. The Märklin 44224 start up Christmas car can also be added. Everything is compatible with the normal Märklin such that you (or you kid) can grow into the full series of Märklin trains and accessories. DON'T FORGET TO READ THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS!!!
