Pastor Karin teaches a powerful message that highlights the authority of the Holy Spirit. This message is beautifully displayed through the life of Elizabeth. Pastor Karin paints a beautiful picture of how the Holy Spirit is the greatest revelator and how we should be dependent upon Him in our day-to-day walk. We hope you enjoy the message below. These are just some of the notes and scriptures that she shared. Luke 1:41–56 (NIV): 41 And when Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 In a loud voice she exclaimed, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! 43 But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. 45 Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her.” Luke 1:41 And when Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. John the Baptist Luke 1:15 says, “He will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born” (NIV), referring to John, who would be a great prophet. Elizabeth hears Mary’s greeting, and John responds, showing that he recognized God’s presence while Mary was carrying Jesus. Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” God knew Jeremiah before he was formed, highlighting God’s plan for us before birth. Psalm 139:13–14 “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” David praises God for being intricately involved in his formation in the womb. Acts 10:44 “While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message.” The Holy Spirit falls on the Gentiles as Peter preaches, showing the Spirit’s movement in response to God’s work. Luke 1:41 “And when Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. Acts 4:31 says, “And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness” (NKJV). Jesus is not physically present, but the believers are gathered in His name, praying for boldness to preach the gospel. The place being shaken symbolizes God’s presence and power, similar to what happened on the day of Pentecost. The believers are filled with the Holy Spirit, giving them the courage to speak God’s Word boldly, despite threats from the authorities. 2 Corinthians 3:18 “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” Follow Us Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?...
