Secrets of Pastywhyte's Easy Agar Tek revealed! HD

This video shows how to do inexpensive agar work at home using Glad brand 'min-rounds' storage containers and other everyday supplies. Using these containers, and some homemade potato/dextrose agar- you can get started for UNDER $10!! You could make 8 'Pasty Plates' and use a spore syringe to put just a drop of water in each one. Then let those plates grow out and you can use each plate to make 8-16 ounces of liquid inoculant!! That's enough to grow POUNDS and POUNDS of your favorite mushrooms! You can also use the Pasty Plates to clone store bought mushrooms. Tear open a sample of the mushroom to get to the cleaner parts inside and use a sterile scalpel to cut out a small piece of mushroom tissue and place it on top of the agar.
