Distinguishing between classification of contracts may be a little tedious especially without proper direction. Our last lecture discusses the definition of a contract and a thorough explanation was given. This lecture, however, discusses, out of the three classification there is, the first classification i.e. formal and simple contracts. Fresh contract law students sometimes find it hard to distinguish a formal contract from a simple contract as most times they seem to mix written contract to being formal contracts which might be true albeit not entirely. This lecture properly distinguishes between the both of them as well outline the legal implication of each of them as there must be consideration for a simple contract, a condition which isn't necessary for a formal contract.
