Add the sugar, salt, and the flour mixed with baking powder. Quickly knead into a soft, smooth dough. Form the Base: Press the dough into a baking pan (8-9 inches / 20-22 cm), making sure to create high borders. Place the pan in the fridge for about 15–20 minutes. Make the Custard: Whisk together the sour cream, egg, sugar, salt, and 2 tbsp of flour until smooth and creamy. Assemble: Arrange the washed and dried strawberries onto the chilled crust. Pour the sour cream mixture evenly over the fruit. Bake: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake for 45–50 minutes. The edges should be golden, and the custard should be set but still have a slight "jiggle" in the center. ✨ Pro Tip: For the best texture, let the pie cool completely and then chill it in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours.
