As soon as the travel restrictions were lifted in South Australia, we headed north to Bendleby Ranges to hit some tracks and explore this beautiful part of the Southern Flinders Ranges. Bendleby is a working station, owned by the Luckraft family. Charlie and Kylie are the current custodians, and along with their 3 kids, make this a very friendly place for families to visit. With great facilities such as a camp kitchen, shower and toilet facilities, as well as a playground for the kids. You can opt to camp in the main campground and choose from powered or unpowered sites, or you can choose one of the many remote campsites dotted around the property. If camping isn't for you, the property also has houses available to hire, and the shearing quarters has also been converted to provide additional accommodation for travellers.
