Who wants lasting hair nutrition? 🙋🏻‍♀️ How to Apply Your Mask (regardless of the brand) Begin by gently detangling your hair, prior to wetting it with water so that your hair is smooth without tangles. Wet your hair and shampoo your scalp, cleansing away build up and product. If you are using your mask for more than 30 minutes, or have recently applied a large amount of hairspray or styling product all over your hair - shampoo both your scalp and lengths. This method will require a larger amount of the hair mask, and deliver more nutrition to the hair. Rinse your hair clean of the shampoo, and squeeze out excess water. Ensure the hair is not dripping wet, and swelled with a lot of water. Section your hair in half, and apply a large amount of the mask to the first section, swiping it from the ear length down to the ends (6-7 inches from the root) (do not apply the mask to your scalp or roots). Once the mask is smoothed over the hair shaft, apply it to your second section. Massage the mask into your hair (using a hand motion as if you were trying to identify "the feeling" of something between your finger tips). Leave this mask on for 10 minutes (minimum) (maximum 30 minutes). Rinse thoroughly using warm water and proceed with styling products.
