Pretty quickly after arriving in Taiwan, I realized how good the food was. Whatever I ate, I was so surprised at how I had never tried a lot of the popular dishes from this country. Before coming to the country, I thought that this would be the only time I would come to the country, but soon after eating the food, I realized this definitely won't be the last time. With the help of asking local Taiwanese people some recommendations on where to eat, I was able to find and try local cafes, restaurants, and night markets. Night markets, especially, are popular, and I can see why. There are so many of them and within each of them, there is a diverse assortment of food, drinks, and souvenirs. In this video, I visit one recommended Michelin star restaurant, a popular Instagram cafe, and couple night markets, and at the end, you can see how much I spend throughout the day trying all of these foods.
