[Project Notes] The book is full of beautiful and inspiring motifs playing with different embroidery stitches on felt material. I picked “historia” because its use of monotone color and ‘multiple stitches overlapping like geological layers’ to present a powerful impact. I find it a fun and an enjoyable way to practice embroidery stitches. At the same time, I'd like to have some companionship while working with both of my hands (or both sides of my brain) on the beautiful colors and warm fiber textures. The amazing thing of working on embroidery is that no one can go wrong with it, as long as some attention is given while working on it. And the best part is that the craftsmanship will get better and better each time after each stitch is being made.
