The Chikly Health Institute (CHI) www.ChiklyInstitute.com Dr Gerald Pollack initially studied muscle contraction. He later on revolutionized the controversial field of water research. Water molecule make up about two-thirds of your body volume (depending of your age) but if you count molecules, 99% of the molecules in your body are water molecules. Gerald Pollack showed that water is not merely a neutral structure, a passive background medium where water molecules are not doing a great deal. He discovered water does not only have 3 phases: solid (ice), liquid and vapor (steam). Water has a 4th phase, a structure crystalline phase, he initially called EZ Zone (Exclusion Zone). This structured water or 4th phase of water is more stable than ordinary (bulk) water, has a negative charge, can hold memory and is greatly influenced by light (infrared / heat). Many possible applications are related to this water, from computer to water filtration and health. Dr. Gerald Pollack received his PhD in biomedical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1968. He is now professor of medical bioengineering at the University of Washington in Seattle. He is a recipient of the University of Washington's highest honor, the Annual Faculty Lecturer Award. He has more than 200 scientific publications and is the Editor of the research journal “WATER”. He received the 1st Emoto Peace Prize and the Scientific Excellence Award, World Academy of Neural Science, 2014 He is also in the list of 100th World's Most Inspiring People in the World. He wrote: Pollack, G.H. The Fourth Phase of Water: Beyond Solid, Liquid and Vapor. Ebner & Sons, 2013. Pollack, G.H. and Chin, W.-C. Phase Transitions in Cell Biology, Springer, 2008.
