Simple beef gimbap made with lightly seasoned ingredients. No marinating required, perfect for home meals or lunchboxes. ❤️ Ingredients (2 rolls of Gimbap) 2 sheets seaweed (Use 3 sheets for firmer rolls) 6 slices beef brisket (thinly sliced) 2 handfuls carrots 2 handfuls cooked rice 8 seasoned burdock root strips 2 strips pickled radish 1/4 tbsp salt 1/2 tbsp soy sauce A little sesame oil A little cooking oil ⭐Recipe 1. Sauté the carrots in a pan with a little oil, then set aside. 2. Cook the beef in a pan with a little oil. 3. Add 1/2 tbsp soy sauce. (If you don't have soy sauce, add salt and pepper instead) 4. Set aside the beef. 5. Season the rice with 1/4 tbsp salt and 1 tbsp sesame oil. 6. Mix the rice well. 7. Place a bamboo mat on a flat surface and lay the seaweed on top. Note: Smooth side on the outside, rough side for the rice. 8. Spread rice on the rough side of the seaweed. (Optional) Add half a sheet of seaweed for a tighter roll. It may be slightly chewy. 9. Add pickled radish, 8 seasoned burdock root strips, fried carrots, and fried beef. 10. Gently hold the fillings and roll tightly, following the motion on screen. 11. After rolling, press gently with the bamboo mat. Note: If the end doesn’t stick, add a few grains of rice. 12. Brush sesame oil over the roll. Note: Use a spoon if you don’t have a brush. 13. Cut into bite-sized pieces. Note: Don’t press hard, use light pressure and slice forward. 14. Transfer to a plate. Note: Using the wide side of the knife helps keep the shape. 15.
