There's plenty to get started with for now. We'll need specimens, transposition canisters, towels, scalpels, glycerol, my trusty curette, and of course jelly! Getting through the marshy swamp levels of the fire ants, we finally made it, the final experiment! The Scientist has kept us hidden away, after lying about destroying us. He's been secretly preparing for the final experiment. With the use of fire ants, we have a cheap unit to use for some good DPS, at the cost of it being weak health wise. The scientist has something sinister planned for us, without the knowledge of the female scientist. He has decided to experiment with something he clearly had no clearance for... Our objective, Eliminate the hybrids in time Tips: An unprepared colony will not survive this challenge. Make sure you are well stocked on resources. Try to use all 175 slots of ants that are given. Save some for some extra nest workers. The soldier composition is completely up to the player now. Either Vigorous or Pervasive fire ants work. Although, Vigorous is by far superior. The stat buffs it receives include 50% damage, 25% physical and resistance damage, and 40% movement speed. Compared to free revives that takes 90 seconds. The extra stat buffs, especially damage can come in handy. Surefooted is one of the better abilities. Since the objective is to eliminate titans, surefooted will be helpful as it increases damage for the fire ant when mounted. Although evasive works too for better survivability. Last Laugh is good for extra DPS. When the fire ant dies, if close enough to the enemy, it will deal high damage to the enemy. This can be helpful in getting that extra damage in while the fire ant dies. Make sure to read the tool tips for each hybrid! These are helpful in getting to understand the hybrids and beat them easier. Make sure to stock up on thousands of food. These hybrids deal insane damage and will mostly one shot many ants, some 5,000 food is needed at a minimum. More is recommended. Extra nest workers are a must. Many ants will be dying at a rapid rate. Tons of workers will be needed to quickly replace the rapid death rate. Hybrids Tips: Hermit Scorpion: Ants climbing onto the Hermit Scorpion's shell and attacking it will weaken it, causing it to release its stinger sooner. Consider lowering its health first before enabling enemy mounting. The Twins: These two hybrids have to be kept apart or they will fight, use this to your advantage! Dragantula: This hybrid takes its time lining up an attack before charging and dealing devasting damage. Try to move the ants out of its path when this happens.
