UPDATE: Fixed a bug where players couldn't jump properly while in Super form, and another one where the game would crash when using other characters after loading the .pk3. Dr Robotnik's finest creation has been upgraded to the latest model and is prepared to hunt his imperfect organic doppleganger to the ends of Mobius. Inferno Drive: Jump in the air to rocket forward at high speeds, useful for gaining ground or attacking enemies. Spam continuously to accelerate to insane (and often uncontrollable) speeds. (R1 on controllers 🎮) Heat Dash: Move at high speeds for a few moments to begin Heat Dashing, a state in which Metal's body becomes engulfed in flame. While Heat Dashing you will harm enemies and destroy objects like monitors and spikes. Turbo Jet: Metal Sonic's thruster technology has been upgraded. Hold Spin and Jump to fly freely, a la Silver. (R1/Right Bumper and L/Left Bumper on controllers 🎮) Boost: Blast forward using your retro jets. Can be used to power through most enemies and obstacles, as well as generate free momentum. Boost can also be used to climb by holding it against a wall. Mapped to Custom 1(X/Square on controllers 🎮) Stomp: Flatten enemies and hit hard-to-reach item boxes with the shockwave generated by Hyper V3's impact. Mapped to FireNormal, when in mid-air (A/X on controllers 🎮) Rail Grind: Land on a rail, fence, or minecart track to begin grinding. You can boost while grinding (Again, A/X on controllers 🎮) Ring Spark: Hold FireNormal on the ground to radiate an aura of deadly electrical energy (Yet again, A/X on controllers 🎮) Bounce: Deflect your body off the ground. Mapped to Custom 3 (B/Circle on controllers 🎮) Energy Ball: Metal Sonic's signature attack. Hold Attack/Fire and release to shoot a small energy blast. Charge it up for a few moments to make it three times larger (good for wiping out multiple enemies). (R2/RTrigger on controllers 🎮) Wall Rebound: Hit a wall while charging a drop dash, release to go flying away. Great for gaining height, building momentum, or high-speed reversals (LB/L1 on controllers 🎮) Lock-On: Pressing Custom 2 will lock your view on the nearest enemy. Press it again to go back to free aim. Best used for boss encounters, also works great on flying enemies that can be difficult to target (R3 on controllers 🎮) Drop Dash: Hold spin in mid-air. After a brief double-jump you'll begin charging a drop dash. The longer you charge, the more powerful the dash (stomp while charging for an instant, fully-charged roll)(LB/L1 on controllers 🎮) Stunt Mode: Hit a spring to enter Stunt Mode. While in Stunt Mode, tap Jump to perform stunts. Press Spin to exit Stunt Mode. If no spring is handy, simply press Tossflag in mid-air for a free stunt. Lightspeed Dash: In Metal's quest to master all of Sonic's abilities he has even uncovered the secret to the Lightspeed Dash! Turns out all you do is press TossFlag near a ring. (Y/Triangle on controllers 🎮) Cyloop: Hold Custom 3 to leave a trail, make a loop around enemies to damage them, or rings/monitors to collect them. Perform a Cyloop with nothing inside to earn 10 rings. (B/Circle on controllers 🎮) CPU Overclock: Gather 100 rings then Jump and press Spin in the air to enter an invincible, overclocked state. While overclocked you can fly freely upwards by holding Jump in the air. Hold Spin or simply release Jump to descend.
