UPDATE: Fixed a few bugs related to super form. Additionally, someone mentioned that they found the character too fast, so I added a version that nerfed the boost slightly to make it easier to control. I also worked to address some lag. ALSO also, fixed the jump/roll sprites to be the right color. If you encounter any bugs please let me know in the comments so I can address them. Blue Streak my personal vision of the ideal Sonic, essentially a melding of the Classic and Modern versions of the character and capable of handling stages designed for either. You will gradually descend, so get moving! (X/Square on controllers 🎮) Static Boost (Custom 1) Put the streak in Blue Streak with your trusty boost! (X/Square on controllers 🎮) Drift (Custom 1) Turn while boosting (X/Square on controllers 🎮) Homing Grind / Dive (Press Jump in mid-air) Hold Jump during a homing attack to ride your enemy around, or just tap it to plow right through. If no enemies are nearby Sonic will dive forward. (Right Bumper/R1 on controllers 🎮) Time Slow (Hold Attack to fire) Sonic can move so fast the world around him seems like it's in slow-motion! Gives you a real advantage with tougher enemies! (Right Trigger/R2 on controllers 🎮) Stomp (FireNormal in the air) The stomp's impact acts like an area-of-effect attack with huge range. The stomp can also be used to break through bustable floors, or get extra height on springs. (A/X on controllers 🎮) Rail-Grind (Jump on a rail to begin grinding.) Hold the stick in the direction you want to go, but be careful around those sharp turns! Rail Boost (Custom 1) Hit max speed instantly while grinding rails! (X/Square on controllers 🎮) Lightspeed Dash (TossFlag near a ring) Press Tossflag near a ring to automatically collect it, and any other ring it happens to be touching! (Y/Triangle on controllers 🎮) Humming Top (Jump + TossFlag in mid-air) Pressing TossFlag while holding Jump (or vice versa) in mid-air will cause Sonic to spin like a top! Use it to float up and then gently descend! (Y/Triangle on controllers 🎮) Peelout / Roll (Hold Spin while motionless to charge a peelout or while moving to roll. Press Jump while charging a peelout to begin charging a spindash) The longer you charge a spindash the more powerful it becomes! (Left Bumper/L1 on controllers 🎮) Drop Dash / Wall Rebound (Hold Spin in the air) Hold Spin until you hit the ground to charge a Drop Dash. The longer you charge, the more powerful it becomes! If you stomp while charging a Drop Dash you will instantly hit the ground at full speed! Jump into a wall while holding Spin to cling, release to bounce away! (Left Bumper/L1 on controllers 🎮) Bounce (Custom 3 in the air) Perfect for hitting switches, precision attacks on enemies, and sinking like a stone to the bottom of goop ponds. Bounce while charging a Drop Dash for an even bigger bounce! (B/Circle on controllers 🎮) Cyloop (Hold Custom 3 while running) Make a loop around enemies to defeat them, or around rings/item boxes to collect them. Make a loop with nothing inside it to receive 10 rings, a la Sonic Frontiers. (B/Circle on controllers 🎮) Ceiling Cling / Ceiling Run (Hold Jump against the ceiling while either moving or motionless) Hold Jump against ceilings while traveling at speed to transfer into a ceiling run. You can also simply grab the ceiling if you aren't moving fast enough for a run. (Right Bumper/R1 on controllers 🎮) Lock-On (Custom 2 near an enemy) Press to toggle lock-on on and off. While locked on the camera targets your opponent until the lock is released or your opponent is destroyed. (Right Stick/R3 on controllers 🎮) Stunt (Press Jump after hitting a spring) Perform sick stunts & rack up valuable points! (Right Bumper/R1 on controllers 🎮)
