Everyones favourite lunch the classic grilled cheese toasted sandwich with 3 cheeses and gorgeous sourdough bread! Serving size 1 Cooking time 10 minutes Ingredients sourdough bread 100g aged cheddar cheese 100g gouda cheese 100g asiago cheese Method Slice bread about the thickness of your 30-40mm butter heavily on one side and place to the side. Grate equal amounts of all three cheeses and stack on non buttered side of bread. In a pan low heat add a little butter and when at temp add sandwich . cook for about 3-5 minutes and flip over, continue to cook until all cheese is melted. Tips I recommend using sourdough as the bread ,it helps balance the richness of the cheese. Ageing the bread by a day I find helps to absorb the cheese better and leaves the bread crisper. Cheese selection is completely personal but I like the combination as shown as each cheese brings a unique flavour (nutty, creamy, richness) and they all melt well. I've tried a few combinations and this is my favourite. I recommend using at least 2 -4 types of cheeses and avoid cheap plastic cheese. Lastly I recommend serving with a sliced dill pickle on the side to help counter the richness of the sandwich. Music https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/s...
