Coventry City Home Season 2024/25 Highlights

After recovering from losing in the #playoffs i have pulled together a highlights video covering all ‪@CoventryCityFC‬ home games at the ‪@CoventryBuildingSocietyArena‬ during the 2024/25 seson. Lots of amazing memories starting off with a friendly against ‪@bundesliga‬ side Wenham Brenham and grew from there with back to back games against ‪@OxfordUnitedOfficial‬. however it became apprent quite quickly that #Markrobins time at the Club (7 years and 8 months...) was about to come to an end.... Home victories against ‪@BlackburnRovers‬ and ‪@LutonTown‬ didnt stop what seemed to a few as enevatble, with the majority still 100% behind the legendary boss. when the Axe finally fell in November 2024, #franklampard was selected as the future of ‪@CoventryCityFC‬ . a draw against ‪@CardiffCityFC‬ was his first game before his first home victory against ‪@hullcityofficial‬ where Jonas got to meet him before the game. this started a Home run of games where the #Skyblues started to make the ‪@CoventryBuildingSocietyArena‬ a fortrus, with key wins against ‪@BristolCityFootballClub‬ , ‪@watfordfcofficial‬ and even ‪@pnefcofficial‬ who the #skyblues never beat.... Only the impressive ‪@LeedsUnited‬ and the solid dependable ‪@burnleyofficial‬ defeated the #skyblues in th second half of the season at home. The family zone grew and developed through the year, and by the end of it there was a fantastic pre match fix for Kids, something Jonas loves and enjoys every time he goes to a match. He likes the Pass board game, where he trys to beat his score every time he has a go, so far he always has.... The games at home carried on with impressive victory's against ‪@SunderlandAFC‬ , ‪@OfficialAlbion‬ and ‪@MiddlesbroughFC‬ . while also recording a victory against @markrobins new side, ‪@StokeCity‬ and ‪@OfficialPompey‬ both games won in stoppage time at the end of the game, with goals from Bobby Thomas and #skyblues fan Jamie Patterson. Sadly the season came to an end in the Play off semifinal against ‪@SunderlandAFC‬ where a rare home defeat ended up being the difference between the two sides... (we wont talk about 121.59.......) The season though was a really enjoyable rollercoaster that started with promise, dipped and then reignited by #franklampard who along with his coaching team got the effort out of the players that the owner #dougking suggested was always their.... Any way it was a great season, just a shame it ended in Play off disappointment.... we move on to next season where hopefully we achieve out goal! #PUSB #SKYBLUES #CCFC #eflchampionship #eflplayoff #football #highlights #endofseason
