The Cracker Barrel rebrand has everyone talking, but not for the reasons they hoped. As a brand designer with 15 years of experience, I'm breaking down what actually went wrong from a design perspective and showing you exactly how I would have solved their real problems instead. I built out a full new brand identity complete with alternate logos, submarks, a new tagline, updated color palette, fresh typography, and a whole suite of illustrations and brand patterns to bring the whole thing to life.
