Explosions were also heard as the country worked to intercept incoming Iranian missiles. The Israeli military’s Home Front Command imposed nationwide restrictions as Israel and the US launched an attack Saturday on Iran, with the first apparent strike happening near the offices of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The army said the new guidelines, effective immediately, include a ban on gatherings and on all educational and work activities, except for essential work sectors.
