I have been avoiding the "endurance" trend for years now.. but this year, I finally decided to re-evaluate that opinion. Something shifted a few months back when I was running with friends at a big event. I started wondering what I was running from by avoiding endurance training: was I just afraid of what lay beyond my comfort zone? The pain, the long hours, the grind? So, this year, I turned the page. I decided I wasn’t going to back down from any challenges, big or small.
