Squirrel, Lynx, & Beaver in Northwest Montana

We got a couple of amusing clips in addition to a nice one of a lynx, and many clips of beavers at work, at this beaver bank lodge, from late October through early November. The red squirrel toting the big flat mushroom gave us a chuckle, as did one of the beavers that placed a stick on the lodge but then removed it and carried it back to the water. Was that beaver a juvenile who was imitating its parents but did not yet understand the purpose of moving sticks, rocks, and mud? Or was it more of an obsessive-compulsive behavior, wherein the animal thought "this stick just isn't right for this spot"?? Other ideas? Fun to ponder. NW Montana.
