December 31. 1999, special FBI agent Fox Mulder entered the property of Mark Johnson, member of the Millennium group which believes they can bring about the end of the world by four of the members ending their lives before the dawn of the millennium, acting as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Trying to find Johnson Mulder broke into the house and basement. The door slams shut and after being attacked by the undead, taking out one, he is now trapped with the ghouls. Luckily the former Millennium member Frank Black and Mulder’s loyal partner agent Dana Scully, managed to find an rescue him. With the end of the world evaded, Mulder and Scully get close watching the celebrations unfolding on the CRT tv in the waiting room of the hospital. And as the tradition demands, there will be a kiss once the clock strickes zero. The footage in this video was taken from the nostalgic 90s – early 2000s TV show The X-Files (Season 7 Episode 4 “Millennium”). The soundscape consists of retro news reports from the 2000 news year’s eve celebrations, and slow romantic parts of the original soundtrack with added reverb and delay.
