In this series of videos (at least 10 planned), I will cover the basic LED displays (7-segment, bar graph, 8x8 matrix, 4 digit 7-segment) you might find in your beginning electronics kit. Also included in the series is coverage of some "companion" components such as shift registers, network resistors, breadboard power modules, and dip switches. We will then "graduate" to LED displays with driver chips such as the MAX7219 and HT16K33.
