I often Revisit - Original song. My first new song for 2026.

This is one of my new songs and the first recording to share, as we travel through 2026. This New Year that's already moving along. The inspiration came from our get away last summer but also the previous adventures we've encountered! I'm greatly inspired by the new sights we see, the different cultures, way of life and the breathtaking beautiful creation away from our homeland. I always seek God for a new song inspired by the places we've been blessed to visit. When we travel, I always seek the natural beauty, tranquility and peace and Greece is so incredibly beautiful, I yearn throughout the year to return. Whilst not there, I often find myself revisiting the land in my memories and this is the root of this song. We traveled to Mount Olympus and did just the small hike around the base as we hadn't got the time to do the two day hike. The village Spring in Halkidiki was a beautiful escape from the hectic tourism spots at the height of summer months and this is featured in the lyrics and video of my song. Olive trees dress the landscape and the grand majestic mountains form the backdrops. We have visited other countries and they are all equally beautiful in their own right. Greece has a very special place in both mine and Mark's hearts. I'm planning on creating paintings from the places which inspired me, in the coming months. The sounds of the land refreshed and energized us and the tranquility stays with me in those special memories. I used my footage to help create this video for the audible beautiful sounds which helped inspire me to write. My promise to myself is to be more creative this year and get my channel active again. Intro There’s a place I visit from time to time. It’s the memories, within my mind. Verse 1 I felt so wonderfully free, when I swam in the turquoise sea. The water was warm and crystal clear, the tropical fish they swam very near. I floated in the ocean, I swam close to the shore. In the Mediterranean Sea, the ocean which I adore. Chorus 1 So if I’m feeling down, or if I’m feeling low. Here in my memories, to the Mediterranean Sea is where I go. Verse 2 I felt so peacefully still, when we’d reached the top of the hill. The village seemed old and lost in time, its peace and quiet refreshed both our minds. We wandered through the pathways and paused to take it in. Verse 4 I felt so wonderfully calm, when I saw all the olive farms. Majestic trees grow, strong in their land. The olive fruit, is picked by their own hands.
