Citytrip New York - Sunrise to Sunset

I like three things: sunsets, panoramic views, skylines. Oh, and my wife, so that makes 4 (almost forgot the most important ;).....). And New York has/had all of those. New York was the only place in the world that was on my bucket list and which we hadn’t visited yet. So why wait? Three months before the trip I had surgery to my shoulder. So it wasn't sure if I was able to carry all my stuff. As the departure date arrived I wasn't fully recovered so I didn't take everything with me, and it was still too much sometimes. Fortunately my wife was willing to share the load so I didn't come home with no footage at all. We stayed for a week in October and we were blessed with the weather. The week before, and the week after our trip New York was covered with clouds most of the time. So lucky us. They say that New York is the city that never sleeps.. Well, every day we woke op around 4:30am to see the sunrises. Try to get some coffee at 5:00 AM. The city that never sleeps, sleeps around that time I can tell you! We expected everything there to be big, but we both didn't feel is was. Only after our helicopter flight we were truly impressed. New York is an interesting city, and we both didn't feel unsafe for one minute. On the last night we've seen the northern lights in New York. So in one year we've seen northern lights three times. In Iceland in January, The Netherlands in May and in October in New York. If you want to see a lot of New York without a lot of people get up early and do everything during sunrise. Most of the time you'll be alone, or just a few other people instead of it being packed with people.
