Blue water, sunshine, good food and wonderful people. This and more, much more is Greece 🇬🇷 The wife and I took off to Zakynthos and it did not disappoint! We drove 850km on this small island in the Mediterranean. Getting up super early, get a coffee on the road and drive through the mountains or along the coast to all corners. We’d have lunch in one of the thousands of restaurants that await you. Tzatziki and gyros being a favorite paired with a Mythos or draught Eza. Afternoons were for sunbathing, snorkeling (with turtles at Dafni!) and Chillato ice cream. As we are old we opted out of the abundant nightlife and just enjoyed a quiet sunset drink on our terrace at our Azzure Vista apartment. A week on this island is enough to enjoy all it has to offer but 10 days makes you fall in love so you never want to leave.
