The pilot of the F-35 Lightning II reported a squawk 7700. Squawk 7700 is given when a pilot experiences problems with the aircraft and immediately makes a landing request followed by fire service assistance. The pilot of the F-16 Viper reported an "hang-up". A hang up means that a bomb has stuck when it should have been dropped. In the video you can still see the bomb hanging under the right wing of the F-16 J-020 after landing, because of the safety protocol fire service assistance is required. The ringing Bell you hear in the video is a traffic warning bell along the road on the airbase wich crosses the runway. So it's a traffic safety warning when there is flying traffic on the runway the traffic may not cross the runway. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please don't forget to subscribe and hit the bell to see new Full HD and 4K Aviation videos. / 32tfs Thank you for your support. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recording date: 09/11-08-2021 Location: vliegbasis Leeuwarden, EHLW Type of Aircraft: F-35A Panther, F-16A Viper Registration: F-012, F-014 & J-020 Unit: 322sqn, 312sqn Owner: RNLAF, Koninklijke Luchtmacht, Event: spotten bij vliegbasis Leeuwarden 00:00-32TFS Aviation 00:14-F-35 "squawk 7700" 00:47-F-35 F-014 landing 01:55-F-35 F-012 landing 02:08-Fire brigade follows F-35 02:53-F-35 F-012 Taxi 04:21-F-16A J-020 landing "Hang-up" 05:58-F-16A J-020 line-up for fire brigade assistance 06:47-Subscribe 32TFS Aviation Thank You
