Paradise to Home Stretch is a beginner ski run located at Blue Mountain Resort. The trails run from the summit of the mountain down to the Valley Base Area. The trail starts to the skier's left of the top of the Comet Quad, and to the skier's right of the top of the Challenge Express. The trail quickly passes underneath the Comet Quad chairlift, before making multiple turns back and forth, with each turn being followed by a straight section of varying length, as the run gently makes its way down the western edge of the ski area. The trail eventually merges with a few other trails near the bottom of the mountain to form Home Stretch. Home Stretch is a wide-open trail that gently runs straight down the mountain until it reaches the Valley Base Area. Blue Mountain Resort is a ski resort located near Palmerton, Pennsylvania. The resort is located in southern Carbon County in Lower Towamensing Township in the heart of the Pocono Mountains and Pennsylvania's Coal Country. The ski area is located about a 30-minute drive north of Allentown and Bethlehem in the Lehigh Valley, a 1h 10min drive south of Scranton and Wilkes-Barre in the Wyoming Valley, a 1.5-hour drive north of Philadelphia, and a 2-hour drive west of New York City. The mountain is known for being one of the closest ski areas to the major cities of New York, Philadelphia, and their suburbs, providing a reasonable day-trip destination for those residing in those areas. Blue is also known for having some relatively challenging terrain for Pennsylvania, as well as having the largest vertical drop of any ski area in the state. The resort also offers tubing in the winter and mountain biking, scenic lift rides, ziplining, hiking, disc golf, and more activities in the summer. The resort is owned by KSL, which also owns nearby Camelback Resort, access to which is offered on some passes to Blue Mountain, and is also an investor in Alterra Mountain Company, however, neither Pennsylvania mountain offers any access or benefits with the Ikon Pass.
