00:25 Game 1 Bad Freyr I was in a Private VC listening to Theology debates so I wasn't all there. I saw we had a hel and not cart pusher, thought it would be a bad game. So I picked Freyr and turns out I'm bad with Freyr, or atleast not at the level I need to be to handle their melee heavy comp. Our team crumpled like paper against their ultra-heavies on Console A. Our Pinaka wasn't healing our team and was aggroed' to stop their cart before Point C opened up by themselves, and after asking for heals and pinging, our pinaka raged quit I guess. Hel is a good pick only if the team coordinates on stunned targets, not so solid against ultra heavies by themselves. Having Hel and Naru meant we had a sniper squishy team, and stell ontop of that was basically a loss at striker select. Our damage numbers weren't there, and our heals weren't there and our OBJ presence wasn't there. 11:32 Game 2 Falcon Lots of fun getting Falcon in. My prio was to zone out the Aquila, Stell, and Lumi and avoid 1v1 their Freyr. I did die a few times, I don't think I got healed once by our pinaka. It be like that, I go into dismantle maps thinking it's always kill comps so I try not to rely on a healer. But in hindsight, I should have flown to our healer and top up with pings, probably just traumatized from the previous bad game and lack of heals by that other pinaka. In general though, Pinaka doesn't have the mobility to heal fliers, so fliers should go to Pinaka. I also remembered mid game how to loop and do aerial maneuvers, it's been a hot minute since I played Falcon and Ranked Verge, so I forgot these things. My energy management was also pretty bad. When I get aggroe'd by aquila, I just hide for a few seconds to drop aggro and ambush. When I get aggro'd by Stell, I just fly away fast and out energy them and re-engage when they get targeted by a teammate. 22:02 At the tail end I saw on the map one triangle going for OBJ, that's why I flew low to the ground to keep my energy up, so I cleared the mobs and looked, it was stell, interrupted him, used radar, and our Freyr backed me up to which we were able to cap. Looking back gotta raise my elevation for my missiles to not clip on the ground. 35:37 Game 3 Pinaka Eye of Misra Duo'd with Wraith and we just vibed, I went with Pinaka and gave an exceptional show of how to heal by not allowing any deaths. I was a bit lacking when I was healing the Welkin instead of our Sere when Sere had the key. But hey, zero deaths. 44:27 Game 4 Pinaka Poseidon I tried a bit here and there to keep people alive, but it was rough when everyone is scattered. I knew Wraith is good so I always did checkups on him and made sure he didn't die. Missed a few ESD skill shots, and should have walled the data node to prevent a sere cap. I forget these things sometimes. I guess even my pinaka skills are washed, lmao. 54:58 Game 5 Pinaka TDM, It was rough because our team was half-bunker comp and wasn't heavy pushing against their bunker comp. Our norne didn't do the best damage, but the enemy also had a falcon. I think if our norne hung around our stego and welk, they would've been better protected and could get falcon peels. The poke was on our side with a sniper. 1:03:10 Round 2, when our Stego needed help, I became bait and circled infront of him to make the enemy FCS lock on me, thereby making less hits go to stego while I unloaded all my heals on Stego. Usually as pinaka you want to juggle between break LOS and being bait. 1:08:50 Game 6 Lumi A rough Dismantle map game. Hindsight is 20/20 and I should have went kill comp. I probably would've gone Aquila or Naru. The thing is, a Healer team vs. a Kill comp team relies heavily on the Healer team doing damage to offset the Kill comp and to also have better sustain and poke, to fall back and heal. Idk what Norne was doing in the beginning, rushing out to dive and die a fruitless death. Then It was pretty rough because I think our falc got hunted by their freyr, and our team's presence on the obj was miniscule even though we had fliers. Idk what alph was doing, but I think they did alright. Eventually our Norne learned how to play at a safe distance and deal damage. But It was too little too late. The problem with Lumi on OBJ Dismantle is, if I'm focused on interrupting, I'm not focused on healing. Hind sight, since they didn't have a healer at all, I could of just DPS lumi the whole game at the start and that would've provided more value. Chipping away at their health like I did the welk in the beginning. Also, this might be bad advice, but if you play healer, it's generally not worth your time to heal something that is feeding or dying or doing low damage. If you can't heal the whole team, then focus on the teammates that are carrying and if you can keep them alive you have a better chance to succeed or win. It's brutal but it's a winning strat when you're matched with randoms.
