“Celebrating McGill's Bicentennial and the promise of a better tomorrow" The 2021 Food for Thought Public Lecture Series. Our annual Food for Thought Public Lecture Series is entering its 22nd season of bringing timely science topics to the community: our neighbours, alumni, students, staff and faculty! This year’s season honours McGill’s bicentennial, as the speakers explain how new scientific developments in their disciplines are helping us build a better future. Professor Jennifer Ronholm, Department of Animal Science / Department of Food Science and Agricultural Chemistry Professor Ronholm’s interests primarily lie in understanding the role of the microbiome in determining the susceptibility of individuals (both humans and agricultural animals) to infections. In 2020, she was named a World Economic Forum Young Scientist and won the Macdonald Campus Award for Teaching Excellence!
