Sick hunt, sick matchup, similarly to Garangolm took me a ton of tries, to get sub 6 this time which was my goal. Opposite weapons though ; I did a ton of tries with Lance before settling with doing this with Longsword. There are only two Spirit Release finishers I missed in this hunt, which is always pain of course but the rest of them were all landed on his face/another decent hitzone. I played this really, really well considering how hard it is to aim at Lunagaron's head, because of how small it is. Rewatching this run multiple times made me realise, is it just me or are monsters incredibly silent in this game? You can barely hear any of Lunagaron's noises, grunts and roars, even his roar is really silent. It's a shame because I love all of Lunagaron's sound effects, I love this monster in general, the afflicted version is really interesting. If you see me spamming Sakura Slash more than usual here even when I had my spirit gauge at Red, it was for both times to get rid of Luna's afflicted state or its Ice Armor, so I could safely land a complete Spirit Release Slash. #monsterhunter #monsterhunterrise #monsterhunterrisesunbreak #longword
