Hi friends! At 18-years-old, on February 3, 2018, I suffered a significant ischemic stroke that initially left me completely paralyzed on my left side. This past year has been one filled with change, therapy, and coming to terms with my new life. Both good things and not-so-good things have happened, but through it all, one thing has been certain: I want to make something out of this experience. I encourage you to come along on this journey with me and contribute to a supportive community. After all, everyone needs support because recovery is a taxing endeavor. Life is beautiful and no matter your circumstance, you can certainly view it as such.
