Cleveland weather forecast: Quiet and cold today, accumulating snow Friday

The colder air has returned as a cold front and an area of low pressure to our south help to pull in the arctic stuff again. Highs will struggle to get out of the low 20s this afternoon and then again tomorrow with overnight lows back into the single digits and low 10s tonight. Expect quiet weather today with a mix of clouds and sun. Friday will be the day to watch. A good clipper system will be heading our way with accumulating snow for everyone. Winds will turn rather gusty as well. That combination will mean a Weather Impact Alert for Friday. This system will cause some issues on the roads. Plan on needing extra drive time throughout the day. As of this morning, the snow looks to arrive after the morning rush hour, but it will be a close call.
