Cheltenham Town 1 - 1 Hereford United | The FA Cup 2nd Round 2012/13 Hereford will benefit from an FA Cup replay against Chelmsford next week in a bid to settle their Second Round clash and earn a Third Round tie with Everton. The two sides are both facing financial hardships at present, but both put their troubles behind them to fight out a thrilling affair. Cheltenham's ESPN sponsored Man of the Match Harry Pell said: "We came into the game as underdogs and we have had some quite hard times at our place recently. "But the gaffer has faith in us and I think we showed them too much respect in the first 15 minutes, but as soon as we got our feet under the table I thought we played some good stuff and Josh (O'Keefe) took his goal well. "As soon as we got the goal back I fancied us to go on and win, we had some chances but we were unfortunate. "We will take the draw and get them back on our patch and see what we can do. "We are not thinking about Everton in the next round. The gaffer has said it's a great draw for the club. "We know that Everton are at the backs of our minds but Hereford aren't going to roll over." Cheltenham grabbed the lead after 16 minutes in front of their own fans at Whaddon Road. Jermaine McGlashan whipped an inviting cross into the Hereford box and just when it appeared the ball would zip past Shaun Harrad, he managed to muster an excellent piece of skill and flick the ball into the net. McGlashan continued to tease the Bulls' backline but his side were pegged back against the run of play just five minutes after their opener. Ryan Bowman did the hard work down the flank and Joshua O'Keefe got his head to the ball first and then finished off after his first effort was saved. The replay will take place on Tuesday 11 December, where an outright winner will finally be lined up to take on David Moyes' Premier League outfit in January. Hereford manager Martin Foyle added: "It's another replay and some more much needed money in the coffers. "Times have been very hard, we only had 16 players out today and they are all fully committed and they deserve a pat on the back because I think we played some good stuff today."
