An LIRR double decker passenger train passes by the River Rd railroad crossing in Calverton NY. Here is yet another RACO mechanical bell that I filmed today. It is one of only four RACO mechanical bells that are left on the entire LIRR. There are only two RACO bells left on the Ronkonkoma branch. The other one is at Wading River Rd in Manorville NY. This is one of two River Rd railroad crossings in Calverton. The other one is 2 crossings east of this one, and it still retains all incandescents. No LEDs whatsoever. Locomotives: 409 DE30AC, and 5014 C3 (Not to my surprise, I caught this same train like 3 times today) Train passed by at: 1:21PM Crossing Information: Location: River Rd, Calverton NY #1 (Western Crossing) Crossing owned and maintained by Long Island Railroad Bell Sequence: The bell rings until the gates are lowered Right Signal Bell: RACO Mechanical Bell Lights: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with GE uniform look LEDs Junction Box: Safetran Brackets: Safetran Gate Lights: Alstom-Aurora LEDs (NEG Edition) Counterweight Arms: WRRS Gate Mechanism: WCH Signal Base: RACO Left Signal Lights: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with GE uniform look LEDs Junction Box: Safetran Brackets: Safetran Gate Lights: Alstom-Aurora LEDs (NEG Edition) Counterweight Arms: WRRS Gate Mechanism: WCH Signal Base: Safetran
