On October 14th, 2024, the MBTA hosted the first ever official Commuter Rail Coalition Summit. This 3 day event brought together the nations commuter railroads, and stimulated discussion learning. Alongside the event came 2 very interesting trains: a display of the MBTA's newest locomotive and the Cape Cod Central Railroad Dinner train running all the way into Boston South Station, a first!
