Technology Title : i-laUREAtE Technology Description : The high prevalence of ankle injuries and the inadequacy of 2D Ultrasound Imaging necessitates a new approach for diagnosis of ankle injuries. The i-laUREAtE is able to produce 3D Reconstruction of ultrasound images with additive manufacturing capabilities to provide accurate & effective diagnosis. It is a diagnostic tool for ATFL diagnosis through ultrasound imaging where 14% sports population around the world affected due to ankle injuries every year, 80% ankle injuries belong to ATFL ligament injuries and the key aim of this research is to produce an integrated system and method to assist in clinics and orthopaedic hospitals for improved, focused, and objective assessment of pathologies in ATFL ligament.
