This is our 4th video dedicated to learning about PERCEPTION VERBS in Japanese. This time we’ll learn the difference between Kikoeru (聞こえる) and Kikeru (聞ける). Kikoeru聞こえる means that something can be heard. It doesn't matter whether you want to hear it or not. You are able to hear it, regardless of whether you intend to hear it or not. On the other hand, Kikeru聞ける(POTENTIAL VERB) is used when you actively take action to hear something, meaning TO BE ABLE TO LISTEN or HEAR (with intention). In this video we’ll practice this with examples in this video. If you enjoy my videos, would you consider supporting my channel by making a small donation? Simply click on "Thanks" to contribute. It would truly mean the world to me! Thank you so much in advance! ♥️ You will find a quiz at the end of this video. The script or the answers is in the very bottom of this explanation place, just in case you need it. But I hope you can do it without seeing it.
