The week's practice of Qigong benefits every aspect of a human being. It nourishes the body, the physical aspect of a person. It also benefits a person by transforming emotional energy from negative to positive. We all have feelings and a wide range of them. From anger & rage to fear & insecurity. We also can experience joy, happiness and love. Emotions exist in time and they also create sensations within the body. Sometimes we gravitate more to certain emotions than others. In doing so, we deny ourselves the gift of the rainbow of emotions that we are capable of exploring. The Taoist believed that #Qigong is partly a practice of working with emotional energy; an art of transforming stress into vitality. Negative emotions that lean towards toxicity can effect the physical body in adverse ways such as disease, tension and pain. Positive emotions lend themselves to physical & mental health and wellbeing. This practice explores the energy of the Heart and its emotions of love, happiness and joy.
